Gunnar Nylund 'Brown Teapot' with bamboo handle for Rorstrand

Designed by Gunnar Nylund, for Rörstrand in Sweden during the 1960s.  This mid century teapot is finished with a stunning Haresfur brown glaze and stunning tonal patterns.  
 
The four small legs which lift the base of the teapot above the table surface add interest and minimise the potential for scorch mark.  The curvature of the bamboo handle complements the overall design, offering a comfortable grip and making it easy to pour.
