Ingeborg Lundin 'Blue Bowl' for Orrefors

Designed by Ingeborg Lundin for Orrefors, Sweden circa 1960s.  The signature control bubble technique used by Lundin creates a unique texture and shape that is truly one-of-a-kind.  The beautiful and vibrant blue hue plays beautifully with the light. 
 
Its oval shape base has two sides that curl upwards, creating a sense of lightness and fluidity.  The design also gives the illusion that it can rock side to side, but the flat base ensures that it stays stable and sturdy, adding a playful touch to your interior settings.   Engraved at the base 'Orrefors L 4069-22G'.
