Otto Schindhelm 'Translucent Glass Vase' for Lauscha Glass

Designed and made by Otto Schindhelm for Lauscha Glass, Germany circa 1989.  This exquisite vase is handcrafted with two different types of glass-working techniques. The merging of different coloured glass creates delicate organic shapes and the patterns create a translucent glow that is simply breathtaking, when light shines upon it.  This is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece that is not only visually striking but also incredibly light weight.  
 
Monogrammed and dated, 'O.Sch 1989' on the underside in white enamel.
